KISMET is a true power house - they literally never run the generator thanks to their 4000 watts of solar and 4000 amp hours of lithium batteries. This is very rare.

The crew is wonderful and very accommodating.

KISMET Yacht Description

Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht KISMET is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. The key elements of KISMET are her most appealing features and alfresco dining areas. KISMET spends the season in the Caribbean. She was completed by the well-known ship builder Robertson and Caine in 2018. An elegant refit was fulfilled in 2025. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

KISMET is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The central space of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is expansive, with a comfortable dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The immersive cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes supply a sunny feeling, with the option for darkness and privacy.

For 6-night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights X 6 nights. For 5 nights, divide weekly rate by 6 nights X number of nights.

● HALF-BOARD OPTION:
$100 discount per person. Includes 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 3 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at
client's expense.

● LOCAL FARE OPTION:
$75 discount per person. Includes 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches & 6 dinners, all other meals to be eaten ashore at client's expense.

● CHILDREN DISCOUNT:
$100 discount per child.

Personal Expenses

● Tip: It is customary to tip your crew at the end of your charter. The amount you leave is totally at your discretion and should be based on the level of service provided. The suggested gratuity is 15%-20% of the total charter fee.

● CONTRACT SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
1. The charter fee includes British Virgin Islands (BVI) taxes, fees, permits and/or National Park fees and/or Customs and Immigration fees.
2. Onboard Wifi is included, however data rates cannot be guaranteed since the yacht is moving and on the ocean.
3. Should the Charterer have any complaints about the Yacht or the Crew they shall notify the captain in the first instance and, if the matter is not resolved within 12 hours, shall notify the Owner in writing through the Broker as soon as possible, who shall try to remedy the matter, the owner shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any complaints which the Owner has not been notified within 48 hrs of the occurrence of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint.
4. Travel insurance and Cancellation/Curtailment insurance is highly recommended and should be sourced by the Charterer.
5. Crew gratuity (customary 15 - 20% of the Charter Fee for great service) is additional and at the CHARTERER's discretion. This gratuity should be given at the end of the Charter Period and prior to disembarking the Yacht.
6. Although every effort will be made to maintain the same crew throughout the season, with any crewed Yacht there is the possibility of a Crew change in the lead up to the Charter Period.
7. Any tandem charter involving multiple yachts requires the guests that paid for a specific yacht and are on that yachts manifest to be the only guests on that yacht during meal services, while underway, and overnight sleeping. This is due to safety and maritime requirements.

Nicholas and Jade are a dynamic Captain and Chef/Stewardess couple with six years of proven teamwork, professionalism, and passion for the ocean. Together, they create a warm, welcoming atmosphere on board while maintaining the highest standards of service and safety. Their experience aboard S/Y Shantaram in the Maldives has honed their ability to run smooth, guest-focused charters, seamlessly combining technical expertise, hospitality excellence, and a shared enthusiasm for marine life, watersports, and adventure. They bring positivity, respect, and a strong work ethic to every program, with a genuine commitment to growing with the vessel they call home.

Captain – Nicholas Farinha

Nicholas is an experienced and hands-on Captain who combines strong technical knowledge with calm, confident leadership. Having logged over 20,000 nautical miles and completed more than 60 charters, he is proficient in navigation, maintenance, and guest operations. His background as both Deckhand and Captain aboard Shantaram has equipped him with the versatility to manage all aspects of yacht management, from engineering and refits to guest activities and safety. Known for his patient and approachable demeanor, Nicholas ensures that every trip runs efficiently and enjoyably for guests and crew alike.

Chef/Stewardess – Jade Lovell

Jade is a creative and energetic Chef/Stewardess with a natural flair for hospitality and culinary presentation. Skilled in a wide range of cuisines—including Thai, Western, Indian, and Mexican—she delivers delicious, beautifully presented meals tailored to guest preferences and dietary needs. Her attention to detail extends beyond the galley to exceptional interior care and service, creating a relaxed yet refined onboard environment. With her upbeat personality, organization, and dedication to excellence, Jade brings warmth and balance to the team, ensuring guests feel cared for from start to finish.

Captain Nick is very safety conscious and we felt completely safe with him at the helm. Chef Jade is a fabulous cook. The two complement each other very well – you have a great team onboard. The weather didn't always cooperate but these two made sure we had a great time! We were not expecting such wonderful service - were treat like a king and queen for the week.
