Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like PAPAITO, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($31,250 - $50,000), making the charter cost $156,250 to $175,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew Information

Captain: Jaime Haydar

Jaime Haydar - Captain
Born and raised in Colombia in the beautiful Coastal City of Cartagena a place full of history. Since I can remember I’ve been navigating in boats and sailboats with my uncle, that is how I used to spend my childhood.
Graduated from Business and Finance and started in the Yachting Industry as a broker in Colombia, after 3 years of representing different brands of Yachts for the Colombian Market I got an offer to start all over as crew on one of the last 2 Yachts that we sold, and so I did. I moved to Miami, Florida, and started working as deckhand. The level of passion that I felt was like no other I had felt before and I still do. Being by the water every day is like therapy to me. I made my way thru to becoming a Captain at 28 years old and my first vessel to Captain was a 90 footer Pershing where I got plenty of Experience navigating South Florida and The Bahamas.
I’ve also had the opportunity of navigating the Caribbean and the Mediterranean which is one of the things that I enjoyed the most of my Career; being able to explore different places, getting to learn about new cultures and meeting new people.
Making sure that the guests have the best experience possible is my goal, showing them new places and providing them with memories that last for a life time.
I make sure that my crew has a very happy and positive working environment which allows to having the boat in the best conditions at all times.

Dean Dewey - Engineer
I’m from Prince Edward County which is a small island in Canada. I lived in Calgary for 5 years and also in Australia for a year. I’ve always been drawn towards the water since the day I could remember. I have an overwhelming passion for fishing and the outdoors as it runs in my family heritage. On my days off you can find me fishing or surfing. I was an automotive technician for more than 1he highest standards needed in this industry has been a perfect fit for myself and having the opportunity of being close to the water just make it even better. 0 years previously to the yachting industry. Then one day someone introduced me to the yachting industry and I fell in love with it. Performing to t

Rhody Ordonez - First Mate
I was born in Honduras and at the age of 8 years I moved to USA. I’ve been in the Yachting Industry for over 13 years now, started my way at shipyards where I had the opportunity of learning a lot about the proper way of maintaining boats at very high standards.
I really enjoy being near the ocean, love water sports and making sure that our guests have an awesome experience at all times, I always like to explore the places we visit so I can show the guests the best places and activities.
I’m very familiar with the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Saint Marteen and some other Caribbean Islands which I’ve been doing for the past 9 years.
Meeting new people and different cultures is something that I really enjoy and that’s why I love my job!

Frida de La Rosa - Chief Stewardess
Born in Atlixco, a small town in Puebla, Mexico, where you can find the best gastronomy of our country.
Traveling and the ocean are my passion which is the main reason why I choose the profession of cosmetologist; to have the opportunity of living in a place close to the ocean. I worked for 7 years in the hospitality Industry in many Spas of different Hotels in Mexico. Until a friend introduce me to the Yachting Industry and I completely liked it. I really enjoy my job and love taking care of the guests, making sure they get a great and high quality service all the time. I have very high standards of service and that’s the reason I always try to innovate and be a proactive person. So that’s why this job offers me the best combination since I travel and work at something that I truly enjoy.

Kristy Gonzalez - 2nd Stewardess
Kristy was born and raised in Panama. Graduated from the Maritime University of Panama 9 years ago as Deck Officer and worked for 5 years in the Shipping Industry. After those years I had the opportunity of doing the shift to the Yachting Industry and I loved it! I have a huge passion for service and pay attention to every detail for our guests hospitality. I really like traveling, reading, exploring different countries and being close to the ocean which is something this job has offered me since I started. I’ve been able to do the Atlantic crossing twice and the Pacific Crossing once. Making sure the guests have a great experience is a must for me and always with a smile!

Daniel Carrillo - Chef
I’m a Mexican chef who began his professional career at the age of 15 in my parents’ restaurant in a place called Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo where I was born. That was where the curiosity for cooking started for me, I graduated from the university school "Sor Juana Inés De La Cruz", where we have to understand that Mexican cuisine is the product of a world gastronomic miscegenation.
“it is time to experiment and dare to innovate in the flavors, the tradition is being built every day ”.
My hobbies are listening to music, eating out, dancing, traveling, and playing video games.
My objective is to keep developing myself in the gastronomic field, both professionally and personally, create memorable experiences through my work and make sure that the guests are delighted with my food. My favorite cooking styles are Mexican, Italian, Oriental, French and Urban Gourmet.
