What are the sailing months in Greek waters?
Clients looking to avoid the crowds start as early as April, although it is colder and the availability of yachts is smaller than in high season. The water is still a bit cold.
The main season spans from May- September, with a peak over the summer months of July August. There is a strong Meltemi wind in August and September, affecting mainly the Cyclades. Some clients come specifically for this wind, others avoid it. October- fewer people but colder. There have been some November charters, especially last minute if the weather allows (usually Saronic gulf)…
