Advertised by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht FEEL THE MAGIC is a 50 ft sailing catamaran. The promiment features of FEEL THE MAGIC are her generous space and inviting socializing areas. FEEL THE MAGIC spends the season in the Caribbean. She was constructed by the ship builder VOYAGE yacht in 1999. A well-done refit was delivered in 2016. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

FEEL THE MAGIC is presented primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it is where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The tastefully decorated cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

The sailboat features (2) Yanmar 51hp engines and a generator.

3 Staterooms with Queen Beds and Ensuite electric heads AND a Queen berth aft of the trampoline with interior electric head.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like FEEL THE MAGIC, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price ($2,300 - $4,025), making the charter cost $13,800 to $15,525. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Mike (Hank) Hampton

After years of sailing throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas, Belize and southern California, Hank knew that the beautiful cruising grounds of the British Virgin Islands is where he was meant to be. It became harder and harder to go home after each sailing adventure and he finally started a 5-year plan to make this paradise "home". It seemed crazy at times as he was selling all of his life possessions and leaving a career behind, but this experience has far exceeded anything he could have imagined.

Hank was born in Miami Beach and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He holds a USCG 100 Ton Master License, is a PADI Certified Advanced and Rescue Diver and has obtained his Marine Safety STCW 95 and First Aid training. He enjoyed a successful career in the hospitality business for over 20+ years with two national restaurant chains specializing in multi unit operations, food safety, marketing and consulting.

During this time, Hank moved throughout the United States and Canada, before ending up in San Diego where he fell in love with the ocean and became an avid surfer, sailor and water sport enthusiast. This love of water sports led him to adventures in Hawaii, Costa Rica, South Africa and throughout the Caribbean. Hank's enthusiasm, experience and relaxed personality will add to an unforgettable vacation on Feel the Magic.
