KINGS LAIR Yacht Description

Presented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht KINGS LAIR is a 112 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski and a hot tub. The primary distinction of KINGS LAIR are her generous space and culinary experience. KINGS LAIR spends the season in the Caribbean. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Benetti in 2023. The spacious yacht layout features 5 cozy cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 10 guests.

KINGS LAIR is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, spacious aft deck, continues to the well-equipped and inviting main saloon. The main saloon is a well-design space that is well-equipped to shield from the elements in comfort and enjoyment and serves as a location of entertainment.

5 tasteful cabins are thoughtfully spread out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

The motor yacht features 2x MTU 10V 2000M86 (1380hp) 2x 70 kW Kohler Gens engines .

Accommodation

KINGS LAIR accommodates 10 guests comfortably in 5 staterooms with an on deck Master + 4 cabins below.

Best known for her awe-inspiring main pool deck with fold down sides for an expanded lounge space, this Oasis model is joining the charter market with charter seriously in mind. Fresh pops of color have been added throughout and the crew are bringing a very high level of service from their experience aboard 60-100m yachts. There is truly an outside area for everyone to call their own favorite from top to bottom and bow to stern.

Upon entering the salon, guests can be received in a semi-al fresco way with the crescent aft doors fully open or at the push of a button continue into the main salon and dining. The choice of seamless in and out ambience is in part what makes this deck feel as if guests are on a much larger yacht. The on-deck Master with oversized windows brings the outdoors in. A port side vanity/ working desk is versatile for his or her use as needed while the Primary bath has central double sinks, private toilet and large glass enclosed shower. Plenty of hanging and cabinetry storage as needed.

Below deck are four more staterooms, 2 Queen and 2 Twin all en suite with showers/ toilets and equipped with individual entertainment.

Moving up to the Skylounge area, this cozy space is perfect for movie night or even a quiet morning coffee when the wind may be too swift for outside sitting. There is a convenient and well-appointed day head on this level and the aft exterior lounge is very inviting for a pre-dinner social setting. The uppermost deck is superb for pre or post cocktail hour at the aft bar and a beautifully set dinner under the hard cover's arch. Forward on this deck as well as further on the bow are two large sunbeds, perfect for day lounging or stargazing at night. The options are truly endless aboard this magnificent Benetti, to the point that guests will rarely want to leave.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like KINGS LAIR, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($35,000 - $56,000), making the charter cost $175,000 to $196,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Benjamin Cutler

CAPTAIN | Benjamin Cutler | British/USA
BIO: Having been born into a pedigree offshore powerboating family and growing up on the water in the South Coast of England, my passion for the water and all things boating has been cultivated from a young age. With nearly 12 years in the industry working onboard high-profile yachts ranging from 34m to 96m, my rapture for yachting continues to grow exponentially. I love to travel and experience new places, a few of my favourite cruising locations include Iceland, Hawaii and the Amalfi Coast. I look to hone in my expertise from my experience aboard larger vessels and provide the same level high of service to our guests aboard King’s Lair.

Having recently become a husband and father, I seek to achieve my best for my family. Striving for excellence plays a key element in my yachting career and onboard. As family is everything to me, I am harbouring that mentality into building a strong crew dynamic.

I look forward to having you onboard M/Y King’s Lair, and hope we have the pleasure to sail with you again.

Hobbies: Traveling with my family, staying fit, cars, boats and speed!

FIRST MATE | Stephen McManus | South African
BIO: Raised on the sunny coastline of Durban, South Africa, Steve developed a lifelong passion for the ocean through surfing, fishing, and scuba diving.
Steve later moved to London, UK, where he completed an Honours Degree in Finance before transitioning into the yachting industry in 2018. Since entering yachting, he has travelled extensively throughout the Americas, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Asia, and the South Pacific Islands, gaining invaluable experience on vessels ranging from 34m to 74m.

As a certified PADI Scuba Dive Instructor, Steve brings a calm and professional approach with strong guest interaction skills. Adaptable, personable, and highly team-oriented, he thrives in fast-paced yacht environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for all the guests onboard.

Alongside his career, he enjoys an adventurous family lifestyle with his wife and their daughter, sharing a love for travel, the ocean, and the outdoors.

ENGINEER | Shamir Clarke | Jamaican
BIO: Shamir, also referred to as “Sham” was born on the tropical island of Jamaica. After school he would play soccer in the streets and grew up loving every second of it. Sham joined the Caribbean Maritime University and got his associate degree in applied science. He started out his career as a Marine Engineer on commercial LPG & LNG tankers for 6 years before he joined the yachting industry in 2022. Sham is goal driven, dynamic and enthusiastic about engineering, information technology and mechanics. Sham is jovial, peaceful and kind-hearted which makes him a joyful crew member to have onboard.

Hobbies: In his free time, you will find Sham working out in the gym, out on the water, and he has a keen interest in motorsports.

CHIEF STEWARDESS| Alexandria Llewellyn | Welsh
BIO: Alex grew up in Wales, United Kingdom and spent most of her life in the countryside until joining the Yachting industry in 2018 where she began exploring the world. Alex worked in a variety of hospitality environments and began searching for a path to elevate her career. Her passion for personal development and the level of service required to succeed excelled through discovering the world of Yachting. Alex has worked on oceans between Asia, United States, the Caribbean Islands and the Mediterranean over the last few years with a variety of high-profile clientele. Having studied Theatre and Drama in 2012 and going on to work in television for a few years afterwards she believes this environment really set her up for a career in Yachting, to perform the service required as and when. Alex became a Chief Stewardess in 2020, continued to progress through to an Assistant Purser on a 134m Yacht however realised she was lacking the feeling of being part of a team and running the floor from the front and decided to continue pursuing her career as a Chief Stewardess where her passion lied.

Hobbies: Alex spends her free time outdoors, at the theatre or at any live performance.

SECOND STEW | Regan Lotriet | South African
BIO: Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Regan brings a vibrant energy and creative touch to the team. In May 2024, Regan jumped straight into the yachting world with enthusiasm, determination, and a big smile. Known for her bubbly personality and great sense of humour, Regan keeps the crew laughing while working hard to ensure guests feel right at home. Outside of work, she’s happiest outdoors—whether it’s fishing, hiking, or camping under the stars. Her adventurous spirit and artistic eye make her a truly unique addition to the crew.

DECKHAND | Tiaan Jordaan | South African
BIO: Tiaan hails from the small town of Ladysmith, nestled among the stunning Drakensberg Mountains. Growing up near this majestic range, he developed a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as hiking, cycling, and swimming. Tiaan entered the yachting industry straight out of high school and has been loving every moment of it.
