Lagoon is a French catamaran builder. It began in 1984 as the multihull division of Jeanneau, it is now a brand of Groupe Beneteau, and its boats over 50 feet are built at the CNB shipyard in Bordeaux. It specialises in sailing catamarans and also builds some power catamarans. This page counts down the 10 biggest Lagoon catamarans on our list whose listings name Caribbean cruising areas in both seasons. The countdown runs from #10, the smallest of the ten at 65 feet, up to #1, the biggest at 78 feet, ranked by the length on each yacht’s listing. Where two boats share a length, the newer build ranks higher, and where build year matches too, the name that comes first alphabetically ranks higher. Only yachts whose listing names the Caribbean for both summer and winter are included.
Our own guides describe the BVI, where around 60 islands sit close together in sheltered water and Antigua, the yachting capital of the Eastern Caribbean. To browse more, see all our catamaran charters.
